Prostate Cancer - Ignoring It Won't Beat It

It’s no use Nellie - no-one noticed, no-one cared (sob, sob). I was waiting patiently for The End… :hugs:

Sending you all the best Simon :hugs::hugs::wine_glass:

Over the past 18 months my brothers’ PSA was very erratic, often in double figures.
After much ado the Dr, my brother and SiL decided that removing the prostate would be the best option, which had to be done under a general anaesthetic. Four months since the op and all is going well
All the best Simon

Thanks @Lily and all the best to your brother. Prostate removal is major surgery whether conventionally or robotically / laparoscopically (Da Vinci) and always performed under general anaesthetic. I was on the slab for around 5 hours - or about one second which ever way you prefer to look at it!

Just had some good new, the letter back from consultant’s office; with pathology results of my prostate tissue chips…cancer clear… be interesting to see what my next PSA score will be around November.
