Sue, have you thought about growing hydrangea petiolaris instead of ivy. We’ve got one outside our front door and have trained it to go round the windows - it’s a wonderful show in the summer. Here’s a stock photo as I can’t find one of our own.
Why not dig a small moat around it? Or build a kind of ground gutter that discharges in the direction the water would naturally flow away in.
You could even dig a kind of narrow moat and fill it with stones like a sangar if you find there’s a lot of water when it rains. A machine would do the digging quickly and easily.
Inside if I want to see if the OSB’s integrity isn’t gone I’d wait for it to dry out and meanwhile look to see if there’s something like thick heavy blocks or strips or bricks of rubber I could put down on top of it to support a raised floor.
I know bvgg*r all though.
Are you going to fit some shelves in the shed? eg cheap plastic standone ones from Lidl - they go to about 6 foot high.
FWIW maybe think if one day you might want a bigger one …
And perhaps add a faux-gothique fortified gate and portcullis - it’d certainly be a conversation piece
Sorry Karen, couldn’t resist…
