Puy du Fou

Has anyone been to Puy de Feu? We’re due to go in the summer with family as they’ve wanted to go for a long time.
I have mobility issues, am unable to sit for a long time (unless it’s an extremely comfortable lounge chair!) and generally get very tired quickly. I have a blue badge for parking which I often use in France, have the sunflower lanyard, which many French recognise, but I’m very worried the day will be too much.
Could anyone who has been give me some advice on how to manage a full day there along with a very exited 5 year old grandson!!

This is their guide for people with reduced mobility

And you can reserve and electric scooter in advance. Costs more if don’t have French mobility card.

Thank you, that’s really helpful

You can hire either manual ot electric wheel chairs, that give you expedited access to the shows and front row seats…. It is just an amazing place to visit, we find 1 day not enough, we live nearby and have annual passes…… you’ll love it there….

We’re close as well, but our French comprehension is still pretty bad. Is it worth going if you’re still struggling with the language?

It’s extremely visual, but you can download english translations via the app easily enough.

An ex colleague of mine has been and loved it. She has no French and is only fluent in English and Yorkshire.
