Responsibilite Civile for Brocanteurs?

Does anyone have any experience of or recommendations for public liability cover for brocanteurs. I am just embarking on a small scale AE business in selling antiques and the intention is to sell a few items at marches aux puces once in a while. The guy at the Chamber of Commerce who registered us told us that Responsibilite Civile was a must in case someone poked their eyes out on our stall umbrella and I will be required to produce the certificate at any market I do.

I have had varying advice on this subject. One chum told us that he does market stalls and relies on his domestic insurance to cover him whereas others have told me that it must be a separate Responsibilite Civile Professionelle policy. The chances are I'll only be doing half a dozen fairs a year so I want to keep it to the bare legal minimum.

Can anyone help?

Cheers Andrew- Think I've got it sorted now but it's worth shopping around as I've had quotes ranging from 100-200 euros per year for the same product.

Almost certainly need a prof RC as private ones don't cover prof activities. Best to speak to your local agent or try assurland or one of the other insurance comparison/search sites ;-)
