Soon to be doing some more renovation work and not wanting to use concrete parpang blocks to be a little more CO2 savvy. I wondered if anyone had seen riven lathes for lime plastering, smooth machine made are not suitable.
What about going a step further and using chanvre?
Can’t find the reference I had in mind, as have seen walls using it in place of lathes, but maybe start her and ask that nice mr google…?

Its a point but I am looking at fire resistance (will be using rockwool bat between the lathes. Also the amount of lime required to make the infill panels would be large to say the least. Also some security required.
That said, I have maybe not considered it enough so thank you for the suggestion.
