Anything is possible, but the BBC are reporting it.

hummmm the death in a Scottish Hospital is reported by his agent on 14th October - today - so perhaps any announcement yesterday (Thursday) was a hoax or misreportedā¦

Iām even more confused after reading these posts/rumours, because I swear I read he died a number of years ago. My daughter was watching Harry Potter a few days back and I told her the actor who played Hagrid had died about 5 or 6 years agoā¦ You can imagine my surprise when I read yesterdayās news.
There have been a few of these over the years, cant recall the names as didnt consider it worthy of remembering but one actor made an appearance to prove very much alive.
