We’ve gone for a WORX 700m2. Mid range price and comes with accessories. We shall see.
I watch the neighbour on his large lawn plough up and down for hours with his ride on, humpty backed, very bad for the posture.
If I had such a sward I would keep what I have got, a petrol brushcutter with very large traction wheels, it cuts through everything except trees on very rough terrain, and is very good walking exercise without any pushing effort. ![]()
Finally our robot mower is up and running. Seems to be struggling a bit with some areas. Long delay to setting it up due to health problems, needed to install a new a new socket in the barn, replacement shower needed in bathroom, and many other difficulties. Not to mention the constant rain here in Normandie. Hope it will help us out. Can’t stop watching it!!
They seem to improve the overall appearance of a lawn
Thats the same as owners of pool robots, only they might as well have cleaned it themselves. Obviously cutting grass can take a physical toll and could be difgicult for some.
Depends. We were (are) tempted, but they don’t have a high enough cutting height for us, as we like a more natural look.
Maybe because of the mulching
Also because of the continuous short cuts which put less stress on the grass. Rabbits and sheep do a pretty good job too - constant, steady nibbling.
Put bigger wheels on it ![]()
And immediately invalidate a guarantee.
Hello JJ, I am very interested in getting a robot window cleaner as my arthritic arms are making cleaning windows very didfficult now. I noticed you mentioned yours some time ago and wondered if you could give me any info to help me in making a choice. Thanks in advance. Janet
