Russian Venus probe landing

This thing was built to land on a planet so it’s likely to survive it’s decent. Where will it land? Mar-a Largo - probably not unfortunately.

Wear a hard hat!

Westminster please!

It was designed to have a parachute slowing its descent though.

What will make it more of a problem than normal de-orbit of redundant space hardware is that it is designed to survive the Venetian atnosphere - which makes it one tough cookie.

One can only hope

Lot of tourists there. Hope nobody gets hurt :grinning:

Latest report in the link that @MichaelL posted says it’s no longer on radar so has plonked down somewhere, possibly in Germany.
