Ryanair Winter Schedule 2025/6

Hello.

Does anyone have information on when they will release UK flights this year?

I cannot recall when they were released last year.

Thank you

Graeme

According to Money Saving Expert:

Ryanair releases seats in batches, around nine months in advance but it doesn’t have clear, published dates.

Thanks Chris.

Odd thing is that they have released flights from April 26 onwards (Bergerac).

Of you want seat 11A, it will cost you!

Most will now know that they will not be publishing winter flight schedules for Bergerac, Brive and Strasbourg. Blaming new/increased passenger tax.

Returned home yesterday after two months in Tennessee with my family. BIL took me to Luton to catch the bus (RYair) home and had to pay £35 for the hour he parked in the open car park down under the bridge meaning a good 15mins plus walk to the terminal. Just be aware if you are using that airport and have family coming to pick you up. I don’t think he paid that much for Term5 at Heathrow when he took and collected me back.

Park on a nearby street until your passengers inform you they have cleared customs then drive to the pick up/ drop off area. It costs £5 - pay by midnight next day.

There is a bus service between the town centre bus station and airport.

I see Ryanair are definately cutting Bergerac and Brive in a big overhaul of routes, in today’s paper plus doing away with paper ticketwork and only smartphone apps will be accepted instead shortly.

To be clear, they are cutting winter flights only at this time. Summer flights from April 2026 are available.

Hum makes me think this is a good excuse for what they were going to do anyway. With the added beneft of it being a negotiation tactic ?

The runway at Bergerac is being resurfaced January to March. No idea how that will affect any remaining flights in that period, but it will have been an added reason for the Ryanair decision.

Why is it that I suddenly had a vision of a bomber over France releasing its load of seats, all with people strapped in.

I suppose you have to pay extra for parachutes.

I think you get one free if you buy a sandwich and a bottle of water.

Actually, having checked Ryanair’s Terms and Conditions, it seems that parachutes are only offered in Business Class; Economy passengers are advised to flap their arms vigorously and say between one and three Hail Marys on the way down, depending on altitude of travel.

I flew Spirit twice this summer, known affectionately as AirWalmart. The crew spent all the hours both ways going up and down with bin bags ready to pounce on any litter but I will say, we got there and back without any problems although a bit odd the pilot leaving Vegas stressed he would fly low and he did even though it was midnight, we had good views all the way of lit up towns and cities.

I’ve only been on Spirit once, from Turks & Caicos to Fort Lauderdale and back - it was definitely budget (and IIRC correctly we arrived late!) but other than that I don’t remember much about it, but it was a relatively short flight (under 2 hours).

On this side of the Pond I’ve used EasyJet a few times, but have yet to experience the tender mercies of Ryanair.

Going in and out of Turks & Caicos it was usually easier to fly with American to/from Miami as they had two flights a day which connected with their London flights. You could also do US AIrways (now AA) to Charlotte or Philly, but those involved an overnight stop. Ditto Delta to Atlanta, which was only useful if going to the West Coast.

I rarely fly anywhere these days but if I do it tends to be BA or EasyJet. I’ve priced up Ryanair a couple of times but unless you can travel with basic hand luggage only it comes out to nearly as much as BA.

Depends where you live of course - once I’m in France I may have to eat my words if Ryanair is the best option to visit relatives in the UK!

Around us Ryanair has been the main choice for some time, although O’Leary has been trying to cut routes recently. If Carcassonne goes it will be a blow.

They’re not terrible and in our experience they’re more punctual than Easyjet, say.

I had no choice but to use RA to the UK from here as BA are the only UK company to fly to Nashville currently which is where family live. I might try AirFungus next year as there is a weekly flight from here to Dublin and along with Icelandair & BA are the only european companies who fly there.

And even then, they’d be supplied by Temu.

I flew EasyJet to and from CDG to Milan about a year ago. Bare bones, so I had low expectations. The flights themselves were fine, but those people do NOT know how to load an airplane. Boarding both times was complete and utter chaos.
