Being a builder I argue about every price because long time ago some one told me that if you only saved 5 pc on a lifetime's expenditure you would be much better off.
I discovered a trick in Portugal. I thoughts quotes were too high because I am a Brit. I got the local ex-policeman to get a quote as if it was for him. Really saved a lot. Seems we get overcharged if the agents or insurers think that they can get away with it.
