I’m hoping to arrive at my house in Chef-Boutonne (southern Deux-Sevres) early next month. The house is unfurnished and I need to furnish it on a budget.
So I’m looking at bedroom (2) kitchen/dining and living room furniture.
I’m quite fond of old furniture including the ‘brown furniture’ that has fallen out of fashion.
Can anyone recommend a source (shop/dealer etc), in my area or close by, for such second-hand furniture. When I find what I need I’m going to need someone to transport it for me too . . .
Any advice please?
Try" Emmaus"… they sell secondhand everything you can think of… and it’s all for a good cause…

Also, put “Troc” into Pages Jaunes plus whatever area you want to cover and lots of second-hand places come up
Make sure you treat it for unwanted critters.
