Just came across this on a site that uses private sellers and agencies. Moral if you use a French agency make sure you check their description in English or you could end up with an ad like this …

Just found this one, that seems perhaps even better than seloger… I found out about it when one of the folks I emailed about renting, sent me back a response. I had explained that I was looking to rent in France, while house-hunting to purchase property.

I’ve just come cross two, they call themselves clubs, for selling private property in France.
