SFR Major Incident

Just in case you are not aware, SFR has a major countrywide incident today (16/6) which is affecting their mobile and internet services. Mobile Operators that rely on SFRs network (Prixtel, etc) are also affected. Carte Incident Réseau Mobile

Seems to be working normally in Cholet. Using Reglo and Lebara right now. Blissfully unaware.

Thanks for the headsup, but my Lebara UK mobile phone has been happily SFR-ing on the way down from Dieppe since 5am this morning and letting Waze navigate so maybe it was a patchy outage or they fixed it!!

Glad it’s working for you and I guess it’s not affecting everyone. For us near Nice it’s still a problem and is hitting the national headlines! MSN

Mysterious… hope they fix it for you soon!

Mine was flaky for about half an hour around lunchtime, kept going off and coming back on and struggling to load pages. Back on full speed now.

On two wheels again?

My very basic SFR phone is working OK, but OH’s SFR phone (which is more complicated) … can only make emergency calls… and won’t accept incoming calls (not even from me)… aaaargh.

and the internet (Freebox) has been down since around 3pm… just got it back around 18:30

I like his style - blaming the network!

No I’m in the car this time just for a change. And also to guarantee it doesn’t rain.

Here in Charente Maritime my SFR connection hasn’t blipped one iota.

Well, there’s been a major blip with SFR and OH’s phone has finally just come back to normal… yippee

Here in Alpes-Maritimes our Mobile services have just been restored after almost a whole day out :grinning:

No SFR signal in the Cher (18) since midday when it suddenly went quiet. Very annoying; time now 21h50 nuffink!

Ah… if you’re ok messing around with phone settings then his phone might work if you manually select a ‘lower’ network type. eg I used to get 3G and not so long ago GPRS (which is kind of 2.5G) to get the phone to connect when 4G transmitters or masts were down.

You can change his phone network type selection back when the problem is fixed.

Service has been poor here in 37, Lebara using SFR. Now making a trip to LeClerc for a new sim for the router, who do they use and the post office have a deal on at the moment but which network do they use?

Incidentally, our Freebox went offline again… at 11pm last night and came back on at 6.37am this morning…

certainly some strange stuff going on … or not going on, depending on one’s view

If it’s Reglo you’re referring to (being Leclerc’s own brand mobile provider), they use the SFR network!

Yes, won’t be any better. You can try Lyca - they use Bouyges.

No problems with my mobile on Orange :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
