Watching the Shanghai motor show this morning and its clear any EU brand is or will be underpinned by a Chinese developed car. SAIC building so many cars for major marques. Trying to stop this tide would be a Canute moment. Low cost EV’s just what we all want.

Agreed - while we don’t want China to have a monopoly of everything, it’s logical for different countries to focus on what they do best.
