The time is coming when we will need to replace our garden shed. I lock it but a kick from a mouse with arthritis would break the door in.
My plan is to find one we like (under 20m2, so only a declaration préalable necessary) and get someone to build it.
Any suggestions as to good shed suppliers?
Think I bought one once from Habitat et Jardin. Loads of online sellers, search for ‘abri de jardin’. If you know which end of a screwdriver to hold, they’re not difficult to build yourself either.

Thanks for the recommendation.
As for the technical screwdriver knowledge … count me out

You can get semi prefabricated ones (metal frame, plank cladding) you just bolt together, assuming your current shed is sitting on a concrete slab it’s very easy to put together although it’s much much easier with some extra hands. I built one getting on for 25 years ago and it’s holding up ok. My tractor lives in it with plenty of room for other things too. I think I got it from Thomas or else the agricultural coop.

Purely a thought (with apologies as you probably know all this anyway) and whilst smaller than your proposed shed, one that is under 5m2 doesn’t require any permission whatsoever.
My wife personally designed and built this one, to come under the 5m2 limit, entirely from old windows and doors that the local miroiterie was literally throwing out. Foundations are old bricks that were lying around our garden. She did require a pair of hands to hold up the sides whilst she nailed things together, (but absolutely no technical help whatsoever) from a local. He made it quite plain he really didn’t like the idea of taking instructions or even ideas from a woman…

I watched this YT video on surfaces to erect a shed on.
I liked the plastic component base method.

I get regular kind offers in my spam folder for “12,000 plans for sheds” for a mere $37 from some bloke called Ryan, maybe I should forward one to you.
$0.00308 per detailed shed plan!
(It used to be offers for 10,000 shed plans but inflation has clearly set in).
