We’re planning on bringing personal belongings from Florida to France but perhaps not enough to fill a 20 foot shipping container what options do I have and has anyone brought over a 20 footer and what did that cost?

From the UK some shippers offer the option to “share a load” with someone else which will be cheaper than having a whole container or truckload, although delivery may take a little longer if the truck has to go somewhere else first.
I imagine a similar option may be available from the US if you ask the shippers?

There are definitely shippers who will share space. Depending upon how much you’re actually bringing, UPakWeShip could be a good option - it’s what we will use if we ever get around to going back and getting our stuff out of storage.
