Having a new Invicta w/b fitted this February to replace a leaky, ancient Godin, I can vouch for modern w/bs being way more efficient than older stoves.

My original woodturner was an Invicta, bought from Bricomarché in 1990 and lasted until last year when the current owners of the old house removed it and had electric heating put in so we had our money’s worth and Mr.Bricolage locally became agents some years later when the Bricomarché shops ended but I bought direct from Invicta as they were in Rennes but not heavy stuff that needed to be renewed due to heat damage like the grill on the bottom where you put the wood

This lot I haven’t even started processing yet. it was from a hurricane strength storm that hit mid July. I needed help with the clear up, it’s not my tractor.
How many stere would that be, I was thinking I would end up with 7?

Thread title: ooh, err, missus.
Our new neighbour had a couple of stere delivered Thursday: it was really hard to do as asked and just stack in a sloping layer in the garage, rather than put in timber to support the stack and stop it spreading.

Our local Leclerc has an open sided shed which contains used pallets that people can just take.

I use this method, which doesn’t require any external support - just a square column every metre or so.

Ah I remember those days. I used to buy from an old “paysan”. The first time I did he, in his best Tarn accent, said what I thought was “C’est du jeune”. Naturally I thought this odd but eventually realised he was saying “C’est du chêne”.
I don’t think I fancy all that labour now.
