Shower cabin

Today, stuck indoors because of the heat I decided to scrub the shower cabin. It’s one of those silly integrated all in one cabins. The setting for the side jets have never worked and we daren’t force it.
Today when, quite gently, cleaning the overhead spray I noticed the silver paint was coming off. I turned the shower on to clear and the water was coming from the side rather than the middle.
It appears that the large centre ring is clipped into a thin outer ring and they are now not quite clipped together.
I have tried pushing it back to no avail.
Anyone know if it should clip in or has it actually broken and can it be replaced please.
Any help appreciated before I ring a plumber.

Think I know what you mean, probably easier to replace, all brico places should do them, fittings are identical AFAIK.

Thanks. I’ll take a photo with me. And measurements.
