The opening drum roll always makes my hair stand on end, La Marseillaise, and I wish there were more verses sung/to sing.
Europe has the best anthem!
Germans can always come up with an inspiring tune.
I particularly liked “Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott,” so much better than the rather limp translation.
@Mike_Kearney Hahahaha but “mighty fortress” sounds pretty sturdy to me, unless God is rather limper than Gott. Gott allein wisst. 
Perhaps a little better than the English translation of “Arglwydd arwain trwy’r anialwch” A Welsh choir singing in their own language sends shivers. . . .
