It seems one alcoholic drink per day, shortens your life span, blimey, too late now 
but I could have reached a phenonemnal age, would I look back, and think, that was a trifle DULL

Reminds me of an episode of Doc Martin ( with Martin Clunes ) where a child patient asks him ‘am I going to die doctor?’ and he says ’ oh yes most definitely, but just not right now!’
