So, what do you talk about on that forum?

Oh, just the usual. Walking maps, Macron, how succession works and sanitarywear for dogs.

Only on SF :joy:

Left-hand down a bit…

Don’t forget the annual tax form questions, calling UK government members names, comparing weather in the regions at the same time, banking problems, useless immobiliers and notaires.

Toasted ?

Yes Tory! But these are definitely the best I’ve made recently., especially because I just found out how to turn off the ECO mode on the oven and it now works beautifully ! I use a hot cross bun recipe that I came across.
Well worn recipe here… hope you can guess the missing end of each line.

I make the dough in a mixer, then leave it to rise in the oven for an hour or more at 40 deg. until doubled in size, then knead it lightly and cut it into 12 pieces. Instead of mixing the fruit into the dough , I squash each piece down to create a space in the centre that i can fill with a mixture of raisins, chopped apricots and candied peel, pre-soaked with some boiling water for a few minutes, then for longer in port or Madeira. Then for each piece I form the dough around the fruit mixture to make a ball, turn it over to hide the fruit and rise the buns on a baking tray for an hour or more.

Mostly gardening, nature, and the odd joke, and I also occasionally discuss building tech. I may jump in when someone is getting a bit of a hassle, but a lot of others here do, too.
I think I’ve only muted one tread “the wordle one”.

Shock horror! No one’s mentioned wordling. Mind you, it’s a very select few these days - almost a cult.
