New signs are being put in place… as from 1st March this year. The aim is to “better inform” drivers of the limits and the fact that there are speed cameras about.
NB: Lorries are still included in the restrictions, although there are only cars and motors bikes shown on the signs !
I seem to remember reading recently that France has introduced, or is about to or is talking about introducing, private operators who will be authorised to do mobile speed checks from unmarked cars.

We should be ok… so long as we all remember that the speed limit is just that… the limit and NOT the starting point…
