It seemed like clickbait to me because the thread title used exaggerated adjectives by referring to a ‘star writer’ (of whom I’d never heard), and then used gratuitous capitalisation.
Gushing adjectives and unnecessary capitals are frequent indicators of clickbait articles.

I suspect you are seeking serious comments about Trump so IMHO it is probably best not to react to side issues. You may be interested in the Channel 4 production “Trump, should we be scared?”
Personally, I think we should be but, as I have no control over the issue, I am not going to spoil my life worrying about it between now and Nov 5th

I ignore the clickbait and the advertising aspect and listen to what is being said before passing judgment. If the historian is listened to, then something of value may be learnt. I posted this article earlier under another subject heading, and what the historian said was of value, as is the video about Bandy Lee in her pursuance of this demented creature Donald Trump.
I ignore the advertising that a presenter might make. Independent journalism needs funding, so not to have corporate bosses dictating what they can and can’t report about.
CNN has come under new management it seems and I sense already some heavy corporate breathing.
