Now the lad is using an indoor lavatory almost all the time - despite being allowed outdoors (apparently every day it’s too windy/cold/wet/just don’t fancy it tbh) - I was thinking of moving to pellets.
Are there any pellets that are better, or are they much the same? Is there anything to look out for in the way the pellets are constituted?

For the past 3-4 years our cats have used heating wood pellets from the brico at approx 3.75€ per sack - they work very well.
All seem to be the same, just buy the cheapest.

do they burn better when they’ve been doused?
I imagine there will be an additional je ne sais quoi …
possibly helps to clear the sinuses

The cheaper ones in Brico Cash, rougly 1 euro cheaper seem to fall apart slightly easier than the other ones. So you get through a bit more but its not that bigger deal.
EDIT: Just checked the pellet stock, 2.5 bags left out of the 4 I bought in March 2024, I would say thats a huge saving and success.
