Food for thought!
A starting discussion point on the subject of cats, do you know that stroking a cat is quite alien to it?
The action of stroking is actually a primate action, not at all feline! of course, cats get used to it and enjoy immensely this contact with their trusted human owners.
It does however explain why semi-wild or cats that have had little of no human contact, find this act of stroking them quite disturbing and can even become agressive, biting and scratching the hand involved.
I'd love to hear other peoples experiences/worries/problems with cats so please add to the discussion group
