Sums up today's USA for me

No, i’m not deflecting. What I’m trying to point out, perhaps a little awkwardly, is that one should not lay open ones own lifestyle; I don’t fly, I don’t travel, except on a boat, but I do eat a little meat etc and present it as a blueprint for how all people should live their lives.
My own carbon footprint is small. But I understand why that is not the case for everyone.
Eating organic food , for example is one I’m in a fortunate position to make. Taking the very expensive Eurostar instead of a cheap flight is again something I am able to do. But I do not condemn those who are not in a position to make those choices without understanding their reasons.

Oh dear, Donald didn’t get the Nobel Peace prize again and he’s furious, because although he started the Iran war by backing Netanyahu, he was just about to end/win that war and the one in Ukraine.

" I won’t forget Norway’ he squealed as threw teddy out of his pram.

And he’s started importing diesel from Russia. Undoubtedly to try to bring down the price in the US in an attempt to win mid-terms.

Let’s not forget the Brits voted for Brexit, Boris Johnson and God forbid they may one day even vote for Farage. Huge numbers of people everywhere are gullible, not politically literate and or focus on a limited number of issues. Look at what could happen in France next year. As for the livestream shooting, I doubt it will happen, but it may as someone here suggested be another nail in Trump’s coffin. Could Hegseth be impeached? Hope so.

I haven’t condemned anyone. I was stating a fact. Unfortunately the witness is good enough to get killed. The Ancient Greek for witness is marturos, from memory, aka martyr.

I knew a Greenpeace skipper, from Guernsey, who helped with aid for Palestinians years ago when not on Greenpeace duty. People said, you’re wasting your time, it’s not going to even help them much. Of course, even in those days the Israelis made all that as difficult as they possibly could. Now they lock them up and abuse them along with the Palestinians they go to help.

He said, it’s important to be there, to witness it. He was a Quaker. He would still be going there, but he’s with his god now.

I don’t understand your comment?

An article I read about Jamaal Howard’s execution stated the it had achieved a successful conclusion.

Ah ok.
