Supermarkets offer ‘cashback’ for first time in France

It’s taken a while. UK supermarkets have been offering this service for many many years. I wonder when French supermarkets will start delivering!?

So, errr, what’s French for cashback?

I went in somewhere within the last month that was offering cash back. I noticed it because I was with a friend visiting from Scotland who had been moaning about how much he’d been charged by his bank to withdraw euros in France and I suggested to him that it was an option. I can’t remember where we were at the time.

I can’t think of anything else than “retrait d’argent liquide”
