I discovered yesterday that Catherine Deneuve’s mother aged (wait for it… 109) is still alive. So not earth-shattering in any way and not something I had ever thought about, but it surprised me for some reason.

I adore Catherine Deneuve. Belle de Jour is one of my favourite films. (although I thought the ending is a bit weak.)
And her sister too Francoise Dorleac was beautiful. Do you remember the singing bicycle film?
