I’m Belgian and I live near Figeac : I’m organizing a “table de conversation” in French for English-speaking people on Thursday 2nd August in Figeac : we meet at 7 pm at “La Monnaie” (nearby the tourism information).
If you want to improve, practise, exercise … your French, you are welcome !

We live in the Aveyron stretch of the Lot Valley, about 20 mins from, but are long-time regulars at La monnaie and are free either evening - Thurs 1st, or Fri 2nd?
My wife, who’s S African, loves opportunities to speak French all evening, whereas although I can read and write quite well, am less good at long conversations, so that’d be very helpful.

Loudun. A local enterprise called au café partagé - I should say I haven’t been!
Thank you. A big place, the Vienne. Loudun is about a 3 hour round trip from me so I don’t think I’ll be popping in!

gosh Loudun rings a bell…
and having checked on Mappy, I realise why…
We used to stay at a B&B in Mouterre-Silly donkeys years ago… when we were back and forth to Le Mans … Loudun was en route
such happy days…
