What’s the typical due date? This will be our first bill and, since it’s currently a maison secondaire, we’re not sure if the bill will arrive here or in Yvelines. I don’t want to be in the wrong place when it arrives and miss a deadline.
Normally around 15th October. I missed one in the early days because it went to the wrong address. They charged me for the late payment but when I explained the situation, they reimbursed me.
off the top of my head… they’re taking the payment mid October
I registered to pay monthly online earlier as said but it is to cover the 2024 Bill as it says on the email of confirmation I received earlier and I certainly did not do this before any June deadline so maybe that is old news. It actually is printed on the official paperwork for TF that if you wish to pay montly you need to adhere before the lst October which is what I did so the old info is out of date now.
I had thought of doing the monthly payment… but the Impot site said I was too late… the site gives the 30th June… but I was trying this week… on receiving the TF Bill… oooops.
Your situation was obviously different to mine…
Give it a go, it might work.
haha… I’m probably not the only one trying…
“SERVICE INDISPONIBLE”
For the record, here in 14 our bill increased from 1624€ in 2023 to 1699€ for 2024. This is for two legally separate properties, one of which is deemed uninhabitable.
Payment by prélevement automatique will happen on 25/10/2024.
Quand adhérer ?
Vous pouvez adhérer :
- pour le paiement de votre impôt de l’année en cours :
- jusqu’au 30 juin (les prélèvements commenceront le mois suivant votre adhésion) ;
ATTENTION : Passé le 30 juin, votre adhésion ne prendra effet que pour le paiement de l’impôt de l’année suivante, vous devez donc payer l´échéance en cours par un autre moyen de paiement.
- jusqu’au 30 juin (les prélèvements commenceront le mois suivant votre adhésion) ;
- pour le paiement de votre impôt de l’année suivante :
- entre le 1er juillet et le 15 décembre, votre compte sera prélevé à partir du 15 janvier de l’année suivante ;
I admit to being a little baffled and won’t change my method of paying this year.. lump sum being taken directly from Bank Account 25th October…
I had a 3.6% increase… Probably should count my blessings.
Yes, especially as that’s below the national increase of 3.9%! Which is what ours has gone up by.
Date limite for the payment is 15 octobre, but comes out of your bank account on the 25th
Haven’t got out TF bill yet. Looking online it says that if you were already enrolled for monthly payments in the previous year, you won’t get your bill until September 20th. Wonder why that is ?
You can set up a Direct Debit for the one off annual amount too. Same for taxe d’habitation - usually was sent around November, direct debit taken in December.
Thanks, but we don’t have an online space yet as this would be our first bill.
I have no espace. We just did a direct debit setup with bank. There will be a link or other instructions on the back of your bill when you get hold of it.
Mine has this on the front sheet "Payez cette somme par un des moyens suivants, then details of how to be guided from your online space or use the flashcode at the bottom of the page or "en adhérant au prélèvement à l’éch’ance avant le 1/10/2024 sur impots.gouv.fr. They will set the monthly payments starting 15/1/2025 and you have to give your bankk IBAN details.
This is my first bill for this new house after the two year exoneration finished in July. You go online and set it up yourself.
Indeed, my problem is whether or not I’ll physically have it in my hands since we head back to Paris on Sunday for at least a month.
It’s exactly the same question I had too - no obvious explanation. For completeness, Service Publique have the following announcement concerning the relevant dates for issuing the TF avis:-
I imagine they are just spreading the load…
(how many properties are there in France ??? … must be quite a lot
)
