Is it safe to fix a denture with super glue?

There are kits in the chemists you can use. Not sure I want the chemicals in super glue in my mouth.

While I was posting OH had already glued the small part that held in the denture!
He didn’t like the thought of sucking his food through a straw 
I hope our dentist will look at it tomorrow

Without knowing anything about it I would imagine that the greatest worry is that the area to be stuck to is not completely clear of all vestige of food particles which would get locked in and begin to decay.
I am interesting in replies though as I am considering a lower plate because, although my teeth are mostly still there and I can bit and chew ok, some of them are worn down almost to the gums.
@David_Spardo , it’s a partial plate which is cleaned twice a day.
