That political discussion with occasional humour thread

I can’t see from where - though I don’t have the time to check all edited posts, I have checked the deleted posts back a good few months and I can’t see anything.

Actually I’ve just noticed Lam’s bio on Wikipedia:

Which makes her comments especially nauseating and puts her right up with Tories like Badenoch, Patel and Braverman who immigrated (or who’s families immigrated) and want to pull up the drawbridge behind them.

Thank you Karen, I know that now, lol. But I swear I’ve tried that before today and it didn’t work.

I guess, like Jenrick, joining Reform would rule out the possibility of becoming PM. He has just had another “I haven’t been on the front page recently” moment, saying yet again, how Islam is taking the country over.

Though remaining with the Tories also rules out any prospect of becoming PM.

In the short term yes, but later on for “the natural party of government” who knows?

Give Starmer time: he’s doing his best!

Did the way to embed YT links change?

Hah! I wrote to my MP a few days ago.

Let’s see if my two other criticisms (restricting jury trial and assisted suicide) face the same fate. I doubt it. And, to be fair, the euthanasia Bill was officially a PMB.

Maybe not. My sister in law was forced, by her husband, to sleep in the cow shed for the night. She is still alive. Not sure if that would happen if you spent the night in the garage with a car running!?

Jenricks been sacked, perhaps because he was going to defect next.
