The blustering buffoon called to book

For the past ninety-nine years, it’s been the Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, but before the creation of the Irish state, it was simply the United Kingdom, and before that, in the C19th, ‘Great Britain’. I’d suggest that,in addition to its differing local laws and separate legislature NI has, as Macro implied, always been separate, and I’d add that long before the end of this century, it will no longer be part of the UK.

Lastly, we know that having intentionally or otherwise ‘thrown NI under the EU bus’ Johnson and much of his party don’t give a damn about NI anyway, any protests will simply be about saving face in the eyes of tabloid reading voters.
