Same happened to me. It’s just the luminosity that’s a majeure. I just got a new, brighter bulb and it passed. No need to move it.
Sometimes the CPI can contain errors that do not appear on the main one so I would wait.
If the errors are still on the CG when it arrives, correction is the same & if the errors are because ANTS have copied the details incorrectly the replacement will be free of charge.

CG arrived the next day and is incorrect. It is a typo on my surname, looks like someone’s finger has hit two keys at once. Just waiting for ANTS now, they have been very quiet.

Hi @anon90504988 - since you registered my MX5 - our Mairie has changed our road name.
It is possible to link our car(s) to my ANTS account so I can see about getting the addresses corrected?
Your car is already in their system.
To change your address simply access your ANTS account then select “l’immatriculation” followed by “changer l’addresse de votre carte grise” & fill in the details requested.
You will be sent a sticker to put over your old address.

Not ‘almost worth’ in my experience - defo worth it. The way in UK with company cars - sold on after 3 years - means that there are loads of excellent cars which have been well maintained going for very reasonable prices.
For £3k I bought a high spec 3 year old Citroen Xantia TDi Estate, the book fully stamped up. It was on 90k miles but that’s nothing these days, esp with diesels. My van was on 175k miles when I bought it. Goes like a train.
Only the Xantia’s driver’s seat had been sat on. The rest of the car was as new. Looking at the docs I worked out that the owner had it as his company car, working in the m/way construction biz.
I bought a Citroen GS Estate at an auction [Brit Car Auctions] for £650. Lasted years. Got me and the High Maintenance Blond to Ancona and back, no probs, despite the best efforts of the Italians to wipe us out. I had it for a couple of years then gave it to The HMB. She had it for some years - called it The Miracle because it just kept on going.
Good cars can be had very cheaply in UK. And for those who are a bit leary of driving a RHD vehicle - nae bother.
In fact, as I commented to a Brit couple who parked next to me in a RHD [but UK plates] , nobody will steal my car - the Fr don’t want a RHD car and the Brit tea-leafs don’t want one with FR plates.

Ahhhh I see you too have done the A14 down to Ancona. Hard to say which Italian motorway is worst but that one on that stretch was full of lunatics.
Driving around the Sorrento environs a few weeks ago I noted how much better the drivers were than in my neck of the woods. Incompetent speed devils chez moi but competent and innovative speed devils on the Amalfi coast Cutting one another up is a sport and if you do it well it attracts admiring glances from other drivers. Though it was always thus the further south one went in Italy. I had more fun barrelling along in a little rented FIAT than I’ve had at the wheel in a long time. Italian motoring brio endures.

I have a Citroen Xantia 1998 hatchback. I bought it in France in 2017 for 600 euros from a Citroen fanatic (he had 5 Citroen classic cars). I never met him as his wife died suddenly in the UK and he didn’t return to France. Anyway he had certainly maintained the car beautifully and we don’t want to part with it. We returned to the UK early in 2019 and exported the car to the UK. I changed the headlights and it passed the mot.
We came back to France on April 1st. so it must be time to think seriously about importing it back to France. I am still not officially resident in France (still waiting for an interview at the prefecture) . I have a UK driving licence and insurance. Can I start to register the car? I have all the original paperwork even the old registration plates

If you are now back permanently & intend to stay you can honestly provide proof of domicile.
If you are no longer on the INSEE database you may need to use a third party to access ANTS for you.

My wife has an Irish/EU passport but I doubt if that is of any use especially as she no longer drives. I just have a UK passport and I’m waiting for an interview at the prefecture to put in an application for a titre de séjour

You have to go to your local Douanes - the nearest to me was at Bordeaux Merignac Airport.
Friend of ours came to live in France for a year in late 2020. All the insurance companies (he tried 5+) insisted he had his Toyota CH-R Hybrid changed to accept lhd lights. He duly did this at total cost approaching €2000.
With him now back in the Uk the lights now languush in my garage in original packaging hardly used.
An expensive but unavoidable episode and looks like they will end up in the tip…can’t even get !€250!..and no response to the ad’ in sales and wants section on SF
Rather than the tip, why don’t you just give them away free, so at least someone can hopefully benefit versus creating more landfill.
They would sell on Le Bon Coin. I doubt there are any of us on SF who have the same car let alone also need new headlamps.

I only put it on SF in the off chance that sombody might know (maybe french neighbour/friend) of a lhd car needing such lights after a front end bump. But I’m sure some SF correspondents will drive simiar modern cars!
Can private individuals put stuff up for sale on cdiscount.com? I’ve realised it’s the Amazon equivalent used more here than Amazon as far as I can tell.

eBay is probably your best bet - eBay.fr isn’t as popular as most countries but it’s where most Anglo’s would look for second hand bits. Although at 250 …
International sales so its displayed on UK, de etc as well is your best bet
