The grand old Duke of York

Nor me, but wouldn’t it be great if Canadian and Mexican stands were packed to the rafters while US ones were played in stony silence. :joy:

Remember Anne Sacoolas? The SPAMs didn’t allow her extradition and she killed someone, so there’s no way HMG is handing over a Royal no matter how disgraced.

Yes, that’s the woman I was on about, not only that but the CIA or whoever spirited her out of the UK quick smart to stop her being charged.

Not a chance, even though the ticket prices are mad all the games will be sell outs.

Yes I think she was either a spook herself or married to one. That may account for why they didn’t want her being interrogated in the UK’s equivalent of Guantanamo (the former Butlin’s at Filey)

Hardly “spirited away”, someone drove her to RAF Lakenheath and put her on the first USAF transport heading Stateside.

It’s not like the MoD was going to scramble a flight of Typhoons to redirect it to a British RAF base even if they knew which airframe she was on.

Interrogations have been outsourced to keep them deniable and cost-effective. No questions asked flight out of Northolt to somewhere out of the public eye for a little chat using methods now frowned upon in the West.

I wasn’t really paying much attention but the BBC news lunchtime was on about AWM being pursued for questioning regarding documents coming to light on the US side. We shall see and it seems he will be living off a six figure yearly sum via his brother whilst in Sandringham. Fergie is the one everyone is waiting to see if she tries to feather her greedy nest with revelations.

I just spotted a RN uniform and medals for sale on Ebay. One careless owner.

Oops

If that isn’t a smoking gun I don’t know what is.

Not sure the planet is big enough for Charles to adequately distance himself from Andrew at this point.

Nothing released so far is likely to mean any investigations are imminent either in the US or anywhere else.

I can’t help picturing the uncomfortable conversation there may have been when the king asked his brother what else might possibly come out, so the family could prepare. I’m almost sure Andrew dithered and prevaricated.

I also wonder, maybe Trump was aware of more revelations to come in the Epstein papers reveal, and apart from covering his own backside, he sycophantically promised our king he would prevent the former duke from further embarrassments?

Such fun reading between the lines (and pics) :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It looks as it Charles III made the right decision about his brother. Meanwhile Trump and his allies are saying that anything about him is fake? I don’t think so.

Probably not - but it seems more likely that Andrew, despite protestations, knew exactly what “services” Ghislaine and Jeffrey were offering.

Apparently some of the stuff was not redacted properly …

I’m sure there were back channel communications between the US and UK. Charles would have been aware of the sort of stuff that could surface.

Tbh I don’t believe for a single second that he, and his mother unfortunately, don’t already know exactly what skeletons were and in some cases still are, in the closet as far as he’s concerned, far more than will ever be in the public domain.

I expect you’re right. Unfortunately that’s changed my mind a bit about QEII. She possibly wasn’t the saint that we thought.

Sadly, Andrew was undoubtedly the QEII’s favourite child and a mother will do almost anything for her beloved son.

Interestingly, I just read this article

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/23/well/favorite-children.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share

Dry details here

Something I had always thought very likely.

Interesting to learn that a lot of the redacted stuff has apparently been unredacted by simply copying it and pasting it into a word processing programme

I think some of it was done using Photoshop, from what I read earlier. Never mind.
