This isn't democracy, the US is in serious trouble

Causing mayhem domestically and his foreign policy is even worse, something I wouldn’t have thought possible ,than his predecessors generations of disastrous foreign policy.

And it’s only year one.

alleged persecution of Christians”?

That’s the Guardian again punching down on the one group it thinks it’s okay to hate.

The persecution is actual and continuing.

I was under the impression that EVERYONE there was being persecuted, not solely Christians.

And what about the 100+ dead in South American waters in drone strikes? Aren’t they Christian too? Or don’t Catholics count?

If you look at the link I posted, you’ll get some more information.

I don’t understand your other point.

We seem to be reading different articles. The gist of the article I read seems to be that it’s a bit more complicated than that.

The north of Nigeria has always been Muslim with Christianity being in the minority.

Trump has made thesame false claims that thousands of white farmers are being killed in South Africa.

Some good news and a great speech. There couldn’t be a greater contrast with the nasty, lying, thieving piece of work in the Whitehouse.

I wonder if the Tangerine Tyrant will carry out his threat of depriving NY of government funds.

As I understood it the article used ‘alleged’ in the context of Trump’s misapprehension that Nigeria’s government was persecuting Christians.

Indeed, but my comment was more in response to the comment that the Guardian was “punching down”, which I really couldn’t see.

Have the workers of NYC seized the means of production yet?

What does NYC produce though, apart from NYSE and NASDAQ electronic trades?

I’d say bagels and underpants must be right up there.
