Starting from today (6 October 2022) and running until 31 May 2023, PromoTurismoFVG – the local tourist board – will refund the domestic train fares of travelers arriving in cities Trieste and Udine, and at the coastal resorts of Grado and Lignano Sabbiadore, in a bid to promote sustainable travel.

Unfortunately I at first misread your title. I thought it said ‘This Italian Region will pay you a visit’
Having just read a book about the Mafia, it sounded rather sinister.
