Saturday marked the start of another campaign from the Gilets Jaunes, the protest started in Paris but unfortunately they weren’t alone !
At the same time in different parts of Paris though not far away were three other protests. One by women demanding equal rights etc another featuring the climate change people and the last by unions complaining about the government’s latest policy on retirement plans etc.
Talk about overkill !
Around these parts all was quiet with no protests of any kind in fact, the Gilets Jaunes bases in the area are looking pretty sorry for themselves but I suppose they could be reactivated should the need arise.
