Bratislava airport was a very efficient system. I went to the police booth where my passport was examined and photo and fingerprints done at the same time.
I fly through Blagnac every week, the biometric gates have been there all year unplugged.
You were very very lucky, recently queues of 40mins plus have been the norm.
There is no segregation of EU/non-EU as the manned booths will accept all (despite the signage).
Good luck if you arrive behind a non EU flight or at precisely 19h when most of the passport people leave.
I cannot wait for the machines, TLS has gone from a breeze to questioning using another airport.
I only use Blagnac when Ryanair isn’t running in/out of Bergerac.
I was indeed lucky to land at a quite time. I’ve had family arrive after 10pm and the airport staff had to run around to find some border police officers that hadn’t gone home.
