I don’t have much room alongside my keyboard and saw at my friend’s house that he has a trackball. After making sure that it would fit in the space, I ordered and received one.
The manual that comes with it is small and the info printed, tiny, so tiny that I was forced to seek it on screen. That is better but I just wondered if others have tried this mouse and got used to it.
The main problem for me is the fact that the ball is too sensitive and try as I might it is not easy, once scrolled onto the target with my thumb to hold it there long enough to press left click with my index finger.
Any ideas?
You can usually go into settings on the computer and adjust the mouse/trackball sensitivity speed.

Yes, I thought there might be something like that, I’ll have a read of it later.
Is that the DPI that I think I saw mentioned?
I found the button to press and pressed it once, it seems to be a little better, will see how it goes before pressing again, thank you.
I found my MX trackball took a lot of getting used to, and I prefer the Magic Mouse.
You might find a trackpad easier, if you find the trackball to twitchy.
I assume that you mean the sort of thing attached to a laptop. I remember though that when I had those, several of them, I couldn’t wait 'till I got back to a PC and a mouse.
As I said above it is slightly better, I have my ordinary mouse still there within reach, but have been resisting the urge to use it.
