Train strikes this week

Now you know why this is, Adam1.

Those .of us who’ve kept up on particular threads as they may be of interest to them, land wen returning to the thread, at the first post they haven"t read. Not at the beginning. So they only see new stuff in that thread. Which in a thread like Train Strikes, is probably about current strikes.

You know what you have to do  . Just keep up on SF and the system will only show you.new stuff that’s current.

Though they seemed to have slackened off for the past year or two, I was always amazed how labour issues with public services particularly transport, always seemed to come to.a head at particular timings each year that just happened to require a strike whose dates were within a day or two of a Public Holiday or its Pont days. With May being a peak for holidays ummm, I mean strikes.

Sounds like the unions are getting back into that game…? If so I’d be particularly wary of travelling adjacent to any of the 1st May, 8th May, 29th May or 9th June Long Holidsy weekends this year.
