Hi, we are off to the UK for Christmas. Can anyone recommend a travel insurance, preferably one that would cover ferry problems, ie if bad weather and cancelled or missed?
I was going to recommend Staysure (who my travel industry contact recommends) but having checked their website I think they only cover UK residents or British nationals permanently living in Spain France or Portugal.
I’ve got s British passport, so I’d be covered?

could be cheaper, but if you have any medical conditions, Staysure is better as they cover them.

Pay for your trip with your VISA card (gold/Premium preferably) and you are covered automatically.
Make sure you have your Carte European de Santé too.

… always worth checking the detailed terms of any insursnce attached to a Visa/Mastercard/Amex, of any level.
You’d be surprised at some of the limitations on cover.
