Depends where in London really… some places you’d be hard pressed to hear any English pork and as for cockney… you’d need to go for a ball of chalk to clear yer loaf

Apparently as an Australian I speak the same language as those of you from the island off Europe and yet when I first arrived for visits to family in my teens and more permanently in my early 20’s (not that I stayed long - it was about 6 months before I discovered France!) I had terrible trouble communicating and being understood in certain areas!
Oh dear, did someone steal your red crayon? Of course I can name 5 frigging departments, I was making a point about, oh, never mind. And no, I haven’t lived 25 years in France, and NO, you are quite wrong, I love it here.
