Trying to register with a doctor

I live in Brittany and 25 kms is just down the road. My Doctor and Dentist are 22.8 kms away, my chiropodist 35 kms, 55 kms for a dermatologist and I go to Paris for an electrocardiogram. The nearest is my ophthalmologist at only 9 kms. Everywhere is a long way in Brittany.

Same here in 24. I’m 30km from work and many of my colleagues are 60 km away, luckily for them their road is better than mine.

And that 30 or 60km probably takes you less time to commute that I used to take travelling 6 km across London. I accepted that benefits of living in a more same environment means longer journeys to get to useful things… so my trip to doctor probably takes about the same time as it used to getting a bus down the road to my old surgery.

Bumped into an ex neighbour who works in the local pharmacy. Asked if they got prescriptions from doctors out of the area. She said yes, you could try Dr x. We did and are now registered. 15 mins away from us.
