Tv Licence. Is there an age when you don't pay?

I can't seem to find a definive answer by searching the web or this forum.


I know that the TV licence is now part of the Tax foncieres and that it gets included via what you put on your tax return, but I would like to know if there are free TV licences in Frnace as there are inother countries from a certain age ie. 70 , 80 ?


Any one with any experience? -Thanks

Reduction or exoneration from paying the TV license is automatic when you are entitled. It is a combination of age and income level.
