Two interesting maps of France (subsidence/doctors)

Two quite interesting maps of France have appeared online. The first one shows where the greatest subsidence risks are (dating from 2023, Environment Ministry via The Connexion).

The second one shows where the (relative) concentrations of doctors are/are not located.

The second map was part of the research we did before choosing where to move. And happily results have borne out as we moved a week ago. I have mislaid a prescription so went to doctor’s surgery yesterday to sign on, and not only had a choice of doctors but have an appointment tomorrow. (Could have been today but we are busy!). Great that something worked as planned.

This is another map that helped us decide where to go. Having spent time in the south with the Mistral I wouldn’t willingly move there.

So are we saying that doctors are easier to find in areas of high subsidence risk?

Perhaps they are more heavily subsidised?

Both maps show good results for where I live, not much subsidence and high results for doctors etc

The Government caved in to their demands.

They’re on a slippery slope

There are only downsides, as David Davis failed to tell us..

So it’s not all falling into place…
