There wasn’t a suitable "non-swept area " on my VW Passat Estate’s windscreen - hence the MOT hassle which caused me to start this thread!
My current Honda Accord however has just enough room for the sticker at front right as the windscreen wipers don’t sweep all the way into the corner.
Thanks to all who have kept this monumentally exciting subject alive!!

Back to Crit’Air stickers
Mine is here:
There isn’t enough room in the “unswept” area but our other vehicle has passed its UK MOT despite having it’s Crit’Air sticker in the same place for years.
Bloody colour clashes with the car though

There is clear advice on this for MoT testers
You should only fail the windscreen if the view is significantly affected. If only the driver’s view of the sky or the bonnet is affected, it should not be rejected.
You do not need to consider how the field of vision would be affected by tall or short drivers
The following are only considered a defect if they seriously restrict the driver’s view:
- taxi signs to indicate when the vehicle is ‘for hire’*
‘official’ stickers, such as parking and disabled permits

True indeed - but that didn’t stop the numpty at my garage from forcibly removing the Crit’Air sticker and telling me about it afterwards…
Anyway you will all be pleased to know I now have a Honda Accord which has plenty of room in the correct area outside the windscreen wiper area so the issue should not arise again!

Whenever we’re going to Paris, her local toilettage does a more metropolitan cut, she’s off there tomorrow morning, but it’s just for the regular trim (only slightly OTT) nevertheless still takes two hours!
Can’t remember when I was last in Sloane St - probably towards the end of the last century…
