Looks like its to do with the retraité part to me that you answered incorrectly in the first place and why they cannot find you anywhere from having a french pension - the UK is regarded nothing to do with the EU any more and where your original licence comes from. Think you may need to do an official letter showing proof that you are not a french retiree which I think has blocked your demand. Véro would be able to clarify it better. Also as Stella says, have you entered the correct carte de séjour details as a WA one?

Did you click on no for all the questions about titre de séjour?
The button was there but yes was already checked with the no button inoperative.
I’m wondering if I should delete the ANTS account completely and try and start again from scratch.

Boxes prechecked and blanked out before you get to them means was done automatically based on what you ticked or entered or let default in an earlier field.
Could be a system problem, but so far I’d think less likely.
Somewhere it has got retraité ticked incorrectly, you are Autre or Inactif hopefully there is a box for something like that.
Also the system is probably not clearing caches between your attempts so try a different browser (temp solution) or delete cookies etc, in between each attempt

You could well be right Karen but I’ve not found a way of changing what I’ve probably done wrong.
That’s why bin it, close the browser, do as above and start again clean.
A lot of these older systems just are a screen directly copied from a microfiche and are that stupid.

Yes you are absolutely right. I’ve just watched ANTS own video of how to complete the form. Because I wasn’t given the no option I’ve cocked it up and as I can’t see an option to change what I’ve already completed I think that I will have to delete my ANTS account and start again.
Not tonight though…my brain is on overload…red wine may improve matters.

Today I used a different browser and all the boxes appeared as they should. Did both our applications in 20 mins. Could be up to 8 months to receive them though.

I just want to add here, apart from Congratulations! to @ChrisK on surviving the French Driver License challenge, that I owe a debt of gratitude to SF.
The warning not to tick ‘retraité’ and details re the cds mentioned above by @Shiba and @JaneJones and an earlier thread, absolutely helped me over the hurdles when I was recently applying online for my husband’s France license.
The direct and personal advice freely and generously offered by SF members makes this such a unique website.

Just keep trying.
There should be a reason for the rejection, like missing data or incorrect box ticked.
Keep going till you exhaust the various combinations.
Or you are exhausted?
