Just an update.
I’ve asked Toyota UK for my Certificate of Conformity which should arrive next week. I’m sorting out my insurance through Fabien’s business partner, Steve Jaffrey, who has been very helpful.
It looks like I have to go to the local Impots office to register and get my tax number so that I can then register the vehicle with ANTS. I tried to do the Impots registration online but the website is not having it.
Lots of paperwork, so I’m just taking it slowly as things are moving forward…

Others can register the car on Ants for a small fee (30 euros ish). It may be work considering for simplicity and your sanity.

Mark Rimmer did my reg rigmarole. 40€. Worth every cent. I wish there was an equivalent to Mark in the Carte Vitale business.
