Where did you find them?
I’m embarassed to say that I found them on Amazon, having drawn a blank locally. They were these (a cotton mix and cheap but this was just a try-out)

Nothing to be embarassed about, shopping on AMZ. I find the prices for clothing and shoes in the shops in Vire to be astonishing. Sandals for children at €60. 
Nothing to do with price. I don’t approve of their business model or the way they treat their employees and I’d prefer to support local business if I can!

Is everyone else getting adverts at the top of the page for “luxury” underwear at Eres ? Not sure I’m up to buying a single pair of knickers at anything between 135 and 225 euros, but still…
God! For that price they would have to be fart proof,thick as a blanket and ever lasting from all the machine washing they need. I got five pairs for £8 x 2 in Asda when I was over there in April and they cover the wobbly bits that always seem to escape the cheapies and head south.

My DIL pays more than that for the 14 month old’s shoes and they are not even leather. Unfortunately children’s items are over the top in France compared to other countries and I refused to pay €80 for a cot mobile when the last grandchild was born - ridiculous.
